New Sound - Big Win by Tychi Phibz Finally Drops

Great minds, I greet you.....

This is a special time in history and a grand one for me. 

We are truly grateful and excited to release an electrifying yet inspiring creative piece of music titled BIG WIN by yours truly -Tychi Phibz. 

As you may have known i'm  a singer, songwriter, performer and upcoming producer and I have been privileged to share the stage with Stellar Award winning artist J moss. So lets give a little detail on Tychi. Her debut single “The Still place” released in 2014 brought a unique and refreshing sound to the music scene and had several accomplishment one of which was making it to “The HolyHolla Best20 compilation”. She has also featured in tracks with various artiste, e.g. Bez, Ego, IBK Spaceshipboi, Soundsultan, Waje , Blaise, The Difference etc.

Before, I proceed with more details on the song, let me say, that it was inspired by a dear friend Oge Miriam Onyeaghala, a cancer slayer (which was what I called her and one of the many good things she will be remembered as),who was called to be with the lord on the 7th of September 2016. Her fight was not in vain because she won the fight against cancer. Cancer never had the last of her and for this I am thankful. 

The song, Big Win, had been ready as far back as August 2016 but it was one of the many special things I wanted to surprise her with but God needed her more than we did on earth.

So this is dedicated to a woman who fought and won. And let me use this medium to appreciate everyone who supported her. Wipe your tears and lets celebrate the BIG WIN!!

Okay, let me say a bit about this electrifying sound ,......

BIG WIN was inspired by the strength and courage of a dear friend who was at the time battling cancer of the lymph-nodes (Hodgkin’s disease) and also from Romans 8:37 which says” Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”. All these coupled with the great strength we have shown as a nations in these recent times, spurred Tychi to creatively put together this song.

The song is specifically designed to recondition the minds of people facing any kind of obstacle for a win and not any kind of win but the BIGWIN. It’s the win that makes you realize that winning actually comes from strength that you develop through the obstacles and by the price Jesus paid on the cross hence we are “More than conquerors”. Though her dear friend was called to be with the lord, she had the BIG WIN over cancer because she won the fight.

The song has an eclectic sound but definitely dishes out an original rock, neo-soul and jazz feel. 

It was produced by Eskeez @Eskeez and myself, yup we dey try small, lol. 

The song was mixed and mastered by Okey Sokey @okeysokey.

I am also excited to announce that we have a Lyricvideo for Big Win and I will be premiering it here, yup you got that right.

This is one project, I will forever cherish cos I took massive action and stretched myself into creating the Single Art and Lyric Video. It was an humbling experience, a fulfilling one !!

Tychi Phibz Gives An Incredible Performance At The HolyHolla PluggedIn Concert 2016 @Silverbird Galleria

HAPPY NEW YEAR - DIMENSIONAL PROGRESSION!!!

Saturday the 2nd of January, 2016 was an electric way to start the year as Holyholla Music concert tagged Plugged-In set off to an amazing start. Artists like Wole Oni, Okey Sokay, Phrance, Spirit Of David, Topstick, Ikayrocks and of course Tychi Phibz gave a great show.

Tychi Phibz took us on a journey of many sides as performed song in different genres, made positive declaration for the year in view.

So here we go,

Tychi sets off her performance with an Intro Song "Hear the lord Say". Interestingly this song was birthed as a results of the concept of this performance.





2. The Still Place - This song premiered on the HolyHolla Radio Show on the 27th of July 2014 and stayed on the number 1 spot for some weeks. It also made it to the HolyHolla Best 20 compilation 2015. And Tychi kills it here.
 

3.  He Will  Provide -Tychi says this song is in line with what God has for us this year, a year of "dimensional progression". An increase from 1 to 10, 10 to 100, 100 to 1,000 and not the regular 1, 3, 5. 6 progression. So here my advise, each time you watch the video, key into this progressions. Amen!!!! Again, this song was birthed as a results of the concept of this performance.

4. Made Up - Tychi writes this his song especially for this concert. But trust me, when I say it will be used in subsequent performances. This songs look the life of an individual who has finally realized that he has to commit to awesome love and power of Jesus Christ.

5. All Mouth Everything - but we call it "All Mouth Errrything"..some tongue twisting going on there ... hahaha! Originally performed with music genius IBK Spaceshipboi. Its hip hop, so what can I say - DOPE!!!
