The Social Media craze is one tool that can be … oh!
Okay there is on craze in the air now. For me, He is the reason for my
existence and my redemption. Oh, before
go into some sermon this morning, its LOVE, God is LOVE.
Today means a many things to different people.
Personally, I am not jazzed up about it but I recognize the day and the essence
of its origin. So to the red and white fellows, Happy Valentine’s Day…..yay!!
May the gift roll in…….
Now back to that special craze I was talking about initially,
about social media, from my little research conducted, people spend hours on
social media sites without realizing that almost half of their day is spent on
it. That shows the “magnetizing” power that these platforms possess.
Internet marketers, CEOs and business managers, business
relations officers etc. have long recognized this power and are greatly utilizing
its tremendous benefits.
You see, there is nothing like getting your brand or
content out there, people need to see, to hear or to read about what you have
to offer. If you fail to make this happen, your business will suffer a colossal
loss.
Fortunately, it’s free to be a registered member on
these platforms and to network with your prospective clients. Social media has become of the most effective advertising
platform to surface the earth (at least for now)…
So what are you waiting for? Come on board if you
haven’t already!!!
Not also forgetting the exponential growth in
businesses that the social media platforms heralded. It has become imperative
to use the internet- social media to ADVERTISE.
In the simplest of terms, to
advertise means, to get people informed about a certain thing, could be a
product, service or an idea. Just getting your message across to the people is basically
what it means.
Oh, I truly do accord my respects to the traditional
modes of advertising; the newspapers, conventional mails, letters, radio broadcast
etc. But trust me; you will be startled
to find out how SUPER SUPER FAST it
can take for your contents or products to go viral online. It’s almost insane,
hence the term viral.
While advertising is effective, in this day and age,
it will be suicidal for any business to halt its promotional wings at advertising
“So what else is there to do?” You might add….
Well there is one called ENGAGING your customers or prospective clients. And by engaging a
customer, I mean offering something to them not just information about one of
your products but an incentive to gain the rapt attention of that customer e.g.
giving a free book or sharing a highly discounted monetized audio with a few tips
etc. This is a very powerful tool to earn and gain customer loyalty even before
buying your products or being a part of that investment opportunity.
Now, here is clear cut difference between them,
advertising benefits the business and engaging benefits the customer.
Engaging a prospective customer/down line is
powerful but could be fatal, if you fail to research the needs of your target
audience. This simply means if you operate an online marketing business (like I
do) and you help to create freedom (financially, mentally etc.) for people by referring
them to a live changing investment opportunity, like TELXFREE for instance and
you want to engage them with Make-up
tips. This could offset the customer and kill your business thus virally
spreading your fame as the online marketer giving beauty tips, lol.
So in engaging customers, it’s imperative to know
your target audience and identify their needs. You also need to discover how to
monetize this engagement this may not always be the case but it is rewarding.
Now picture me, engaging and acquiring all your
customers like a landed property (just kidding).
But get this, if you can successfully combine ADVERTISING AND ENGAGING then infuse it
in your business operations, your success will astound you; hitting all-time
highs, breaking and setting higher records.
Conclusively, this is my valentine gift to you, go
advertise and engage your customers or prospective down lines.
You do have what it takes!!!
More tips in the coming days :)
To your Lovely success
