Let's Make It Happen

-          Optimism is one attribute you should always possess even in times of opposition.

Here is a classic scenario of what happens when you see through the eyes of optimism; It is you digging deep to discover your treasure lies there. It’s truly amazing to be in the right path, in the right season and digging from the right spot. In such cases, what keeps you going is the fact that you are fully aware that something truly special lies there in.

-         SKILL UP: Having the needed skill is part of the key components needed to make things happen, it necessary to have a certain level of skill in your area of interest, even if you are naturally gifted.

 

 

Imagine being gifted with a 7 (ranking one’s gift) and you decide not to develop it with the skills needed to make the most of the gift, you remain a 7 right? Now consider a fellow with a 5 (ranking) who actually develops the skills to effectively use this gift, let’s say after much work he ends up being a 9 (ranking). He eventually becomes more valuable and relevant than you because you failed to possess that skill to manage and utilize what you had.

-        Having the right priorities are key to making things happen. As a person who wants to succeed, you must have a scale of preference, where you prioritize your goals, needs, wants etc. This is an extremely powerful tool that cannot be neglected. You must have an ordered list because it evidently becomes the foundation of your success.

It’s no lazy man’s work, I assure you, and a lot of opportunity cost i.e. alternative forgone will be required to have a brilliant scale of preference.  

 

-         Discipline must become your lifestyle because it will greatly help to eliminate any form of distraction, play now, pay later or pay now and play later says Bishop David Oyedepo. It’s important to know that life is not a fun fare, but warfare. Ask bill gates, Dr olukoya, Steve Jobs, Nelson Mandela or the great achievers of our time.

 

This generation has gracefully adorned itself with pearls of laziness and shortcuts. Shortcuts that would eventually cut short your dreams. Most youth want the fast things, the fast cars, the fast women, and the fast money. They refuse to pay the price for the ultimate prize. It not all about dancing and fun, there is always a time for action and extraction, for leisure and work.

-          Be accountable for every action. You need to answerable and responsible for your actions. This will also ensure that you are heading towards a successful path.

 

-          Making things happen would require you know how to say NO in many ways. You need to identify your strengths and weakness. You need to learn how to say NO when necessary and YES as well.

Let you’re No be No and your Yes be yes. This will cut out all distraction, stand a firm ground, avoid peer pressure and shoot for the stars.

Now, I can go on with several ways to make things happen but one thing I cannot do without mentioning is my spiritual success. Above all, having a sweet fellowship and relationship with God has helped a great deal.  It’s incomparable to any attribute mentioned above and its results are dumbfounding.

Oh well, this is where I welcome to the world of success and experiencing true freedom.
