ITS THE VIRAL VIRUS- THE HEARTBLEED BUG AND HOW YOU CAN AVOID IT






This information is going viral as well as its virus and I am going to be sharing with you ways to curb the situation or avoid been affected by it.


This virus is one that affects internet users, internet marketers, bloggers, you name it. In fact as long as you use the internet either to check emails or chat via Facebook/twitter or post pictures on Instagram you should be on the lookout on this.

So here we go, it’s called the Heartbleed bug. Isn't the name frightening? oh well.. Now to the matter.


The Heart Bleed virus basically takes advantage of OpenSSL (open source implementation)  encryption software, which is standard for many websites. It allows hackers obtain your passwords, credit card information etc. with your realizing it.



 First off, I must let you know some facts about the Heartbleed virus;

- It has been around for about 2years undetected.
-  This virus has affected millions of websites including the top ranking websites on Alexa.
- Though users don’t have much power over the Heart Bleed virus — website administrators and creators have to update their OpenSSL software.
- The Heart Bleed virus allows hackers to exploit a flaw in the OpenSSL encryption software used by a majority of major websites to steal data like credit card numbers, passwords, and other personal information.
- You are likely to be affected either directly or indirectly

Don’t want to go techy on you, bottom line if you a yahoo mail, Gmail, Facebook, twitter, Instagram account etc. you need to change your password. Please if you have not done this do it NOW!!!!
